Event Details

Knowing who we are is a very practical necessity. It's a real life question. Nothing is more important and more relevant than this.

If we don't know our real identity, we will spend our lives in a kind of dream state - we will falsely identify ourselves as something or someone we aren't. Then on the basis of these false identifications, we will determine the goals of our life and the purpose of our existence. We then use these goals to gauge whether we are a "success". And we are aided and abetted in this delusion by a complex network of relationships with other dreamers.

Discover and take an in-depth look at who we really are and what we are meant to do with this gift of life to awaken the inherent wisdom and love within ourselves with this afternoon talk with Laksmi Narayan das.

Born with the proverbial “silver spoon” to an affluent family, he lived recklessly in his teens as a child of the 60’s generation. But after an enlightening near-death experience at the young age of 20 years old, he renounced his wayward life and embarked on a relentless search for the meaning of existence.

This journey of a decade took him into the many philosophies and doctrines of Zen, Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism, and the ancient tribal and mystical religions of the world. His long search for the absolute truth and ultimate reality, finally culminated in the Vedic philosophy of Bhakti.

Now, he is a leading proponent of Kirtan Yoga, and a Brahman initiate of Jagat Guru Siddhaswarupananda. He produced the historical cultural opera “Mahal”, the first original Philippine rock opera, winning multiple awards for its original songs.

He is the founder of the Ecumenical Foundation of Asia, which aims to bring all faiths and beliefs under the umbrella of One and the same God.

Currently, he is working on his discourse “The Da Vinci Code Unlocked” which reveals and explains the secret hidden teachings of Jesus Christ during the unknown years and after the crucifixion.
